In 2017, we are moving completely to google sites for your appraisal process. We will be using Classic google sites rather than the new google sites as the functionality is better at this time with the old sites (the new sites was only released at the end of 2016). Instructions for setting it up are in the slides below.
The staff session on the February 13th will go through setting this up step by step so you don't need to do it now, however you are welcome to if you are keen.
The rebranding of Westlake Girls is still work in progress and I am conscious that our old look is still present in various forms. One of our primary forms of communication is by email and we do need to have a consistent Westlake look to our email signatures.
Could I ask all of you to update your email signature to the new style if you have not already done so using my signature below as a model. You can select your own choice of Westlake banner from the five options available on teachers drive: Z:\Banners Before you start the process in Outlook of updating your signature, the easiest way to do this is to use my email signature on the attached document directly below and modify it with your own details, changing the name, title, phone extension (if using) and email address. Once you have this prepared you can then COPY it ready to PASTE at the final stage of creating your signature. If you need help on how to change your signature in Outlook, instructions are shown below in the slides.
Below are the instructions for archiving your google classrooms from last year. Then you will have a clean slate to create your new ones for this year. Some people prefer to keep the classrooms from the previous year and reuse them, that is absolutely fine, you can go into the students tab and remove all of last years students. However the new students when they join will be able to see the whole stream of announcements etc. I prefer to start anew! If you need to you can easily access archived classrooms at any time.
