Raewyn Donnell has created a video tutorial on how to write your reports on MUSAC. So for those of you who are new to WGHS or Musac, this is a great way to get a quick view on how to do your reports as they are fast approaching.
The most recent thing happening on twitter at the moment is the #hackyrclass movement. Claire Amos from the new Hobsonville Point Secondary School began this movement this term and it has certainly taken off around NZ. Claire sends out a new topic every week for you to explore in your own way and find innovative/exciting/new ways of engaging your students and to create an effective learning environment in your classroom. The thing that I really like about what Claire has done is that the focus is on the learner rather than the etool. This has invigorated me and is challenging me to further reflect on how I use technology. Her most recent topic'Getting to know your learners' provided some awesome ideas for how to enhance your relationships with your students. This is a great place to start, choose one and then figure out how to use the etool to achieve it. Two ways that I have worked on enhancing my relationships with my students are:
