Click on the button below for a short video on how to enter attendance. It is a video stored in google drive to protect the names of students in the video.
1. Go into mark book then Setup. 2. Add an assessment using the ‘plus’ symbol. 3. Click on New Subject Assessment and OK. 4. Enter the title for the assessment (For the example, I have named it Test), Grade and Create. 5. Click on to the assessment (to edit it). 6. This is what it will look like, you then need to change the Mark out of (far right) then go into Advanced Adjustments to change the NAME. 7. Change the Mark out of (I have made in 30), then enter in the number of N, A, M, E (in Advanced Adjustments), click on Report as Grade. When you are done putting in the number of NAME, then click out of the Advanced Adjustments and you should see the box on the right show the numbers to match. 8. Go to Mark book Entry, you need to green tick the Entered KAMAR to see the results change to a NAME grade as you enter in the number grade. This should normally be set up by the HOD or TIC for common assessment tasks across the entire course. This is for your own course records, CAT’s; formatives, diagnostics, practice assessments, etc and won’t be reported from set D. 1. Click on your Markbook tab across the top. Yours may look like this or it may have less columns. Go across and select yourself. 2. In the far right column click on the second button down 'Setup'. 3. Click on "SET D" as this is your non-reported classroom mark book. 4. Click the “+” sign on the right 5. Select “New Subject Assessment” – OK. 6. Enter the name of your class assessment. Click create. 7. You have now created a new assessment in your non-reportable “SET D” markbook. It should look like below. 8. To enter any grades you go back to your mark book, “Entry” tab. 9. Make sure you select “SET D: non-reported” and click edit. 10. You should now be in your own course mark book and staff can begin entering results for your class. Please feedback to your HOD if this procedure is causing issues.

Many staff have asked me how they can share only a snippet of a full video in Clickview. You used to be able to download a chapter on your laptop but this is even better. You can now create a clip using any section of a video. This can be done from videos in the Library, in the Exchange or in your workspace.
The teacher mark book is just for you. If you are setting up an assessment that the whole subject will be using, your HOD/TIC’s would need to set this up in the subject mark book. Scroll down below the video for written instructions.
1. Go into you Teacher mark book and Setup.
2. Go into the set you want – it should be Set D which is not reported (remember Set A is for Internals, Set B for Externals, Set C is Reported). Click on the ‘plus’ to create an assessment.
3. Click on New Subject Assessment and OK 4. Put the name of your assessment in the Title (for my example I named it test), decide if it is Mark, Grade, Test then Create. 5. Below is what your new assessment will look like, if you need to change anything you can go into Edit Details.
6. Go back to teacher Markbook, and into Entry.
7. Click on the Set and the assessment and Edit.
8. Click on the magnify glass icon to find your class.
9. Go to Option Subject, then to you as the teacher and which subject (students) you want and click Find.
10. Your class will then come through and you can start entering in results. If you need the results to show in a different format you need to do that in Setup. If later on you want this assessment to show on the school report, you can move it into Set C (back in Setup), you will need to make sure that both the Entered KAMAR and Publish Results have the green tick, otherwise it will not show on reports.
The student will remain in the mark book if you enter in their grades. If you do not enter any grades in, you will have to click on the magnify glass function and bring the student by the subject back into the mark book. You can set up another assessment in Set up and bring another class in for that assessment, just make sure you click on the Set and the correct assessment before you bring the next class through. Basically you have one mark book and you set up the assessments and bring the classes in to enter the results, rather than having a separate teachers mark book per subject. Clickview is an online site which WGHS pays for it's teachers and students to use. You can access clickview via the internet at school and at home. This enables you to watch important videos as many times as you need to. You can access ClickView via an internet browser or via an app for your Ipad or tablet, just search them on your apps store.
