Share a whole set of clickview video's on a specific topic for your students to view during class or at home. This is useful for flipping your classroom and increasing your teaching time to apply what students have learnt from a video watched at home. Creating and sharing a playlist also provides students with a set of videos to utilise for a unit of work, for research or for studying prior to exams. Many staff have asked me how they can share only a snippet of a full video in Clickview. You used to be able to download a chapter on your laptop but this is even better. You can now create a clip using any section of a video. This can be done from videos in the Library, in the Exchange or in your workspace.
Clickview is an online site which WGHS pays for it's teachers and students to use. You can access clickview via the internet at school and at home. This enables you to watch important videos as many times as you need to. You can access ClickView via an internet browser or via an app for your Ipad or tablet, just search them on your apps store.
For year 9's, you have a very useful tool in Clickview (and for many other year levels that are now bringing devices by choice). By sharing a video using a link you can save yourself a lot of time that sometimes is wasted in writing relief that then doesn't get completed for whatever reason.
Well, students are far happier and at home watching a video, so why not use that to our advantage? Set a video for them to watch. Now if your using google classroom this is an excellent way to share the video with your students. Simple paste the clickview video link into a google classroom post. Remember that many clickview videos also have worksheets attached so why not send the worksheet to them as well and all of a sudden your relief work is set!
