Frances Valintine is the founder of the Mindlab. The Mindlab runs the Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Practice (Digital and Collaborative Learning). As a founding student of this program, I learnt an enormous amount from Frances and was amazed weekly at both her passion, the level of knowledge she has and the relationships she has with New Zealand buisnesses. This is a great short discussion on the aging workforce and what this means for the New Zealand economy.

I have never considered or thought about the style of an app in educational terms. We have talked a lot with regards to our E-Learning vision the skills we think digital technology can enhance in our students and that we believe are important for their future. However this article looks at things in a refreshingly new way - educational theory. Well worth it and a short quick read too!! Don't forget to pop it into your appraisal as PD.
