They then upload this to thinglink and answer some questions by way of inserting their answers as a comment over top of the pictures. If you hover over the pictures below you will see the explanations. This is then shared with their teacher using a web link. The one you see below is an example created by the teachers to show students what is expected.
As I have mentioned in previous posts, thinglink can be used in a variety of ways. To identify something in a photo, make predictions on what will happen next (Science?, Social Studies?), to explain concepts or even as a unit overview to show what you will be studying etc. A teacher could also use it to have links to various tasks (you can insert text, links etc into the points.
