All teachers and students (using laptops) at Westlake Girls now have this tool in their google chrome browser.
Steps
1. Open the chrome browser and find a page that you are wanting to save.
2. On your chrome browser to the right of the web address bar, there are a couple of little icons. These are called Chrome Extensions (I have quite a few - you probably will only have 1-2 that I have added to everyone.)
4. This will then save that page as a pdf and put it into your google drive.
5. A box will appear telling you the name it has been saved as and gives you the option to change the name and where in
your google drive it is stored. At this point you can also click on the title to open it. Now be aware if the page you were
saving was very long, so too will be your pdf!
Useful
This is particularly useful in conjunction with google forms. The new google forms provides you with graphed results automatically now which is great, but there is not yet a function to save that automatically into a google doc of pdf. This 'Save to Drive' extension will enable you to do this quickly and effortlessly.
